Susan has been winning awards in art and design since 1986 and has had artwork in museums and private collections all over the world (www.susanjcalveshere.com). Susan has taught her specialized colored pencil techniques through the National Endowment of the Arts and has written two instructional art books that are used by teachers across the United States.

Susan started writing for international publications in the area of fashion in 2006. Susan became a fashion editor and fashion journalist for international magazines and newspapers. In 2008 Susan became Editor in Chief and Co-Founder of Beauty Revolution Magazine. BR Magazine was an online and in print magazine that had a following of over 170,000 readers internationally. In 2010 when BR Magazine closed its doors Susan then become Editor in Chief of Elise Magazine, www.elisemagazine.com

In 2009 Susan was voted in as a 2010 Regional Director for Fashion Group International. The Fashion Group International is a global, non-profit, professional organization with 5000 members in the fashion industry including apparel, accessories, beauty and home. The FGI mission is to be the pre-eminent authority on the business of fashion and design and to help its members become more effective in their careers.  Fashion Group International is a global not-for-profit professional organization with over 5000 members in the fashion industry including apparel, accessories, beauty, design and home.
